ABC 4 – Salt Lake City, UT – 9/16/10

Emily from ABC 4 in Salt Lake City was kind enough to meet me at the airport today and man did I get a greeting!  Check another 1st off of the list: ‘being greeting by women holding a sign about you’! Here’s the video and if you click ‘continue reading’ you can view the link and the text.

Day 9 – Santa Barbara & San Ynez Valley

It seems as thought I’m at a peak right now, as days 8 and 9 have been 2 of the best days I can recall having in a very very long time.  Just when you thought it would be impossible to beat jumping out of a plane at 18,000′, I found myself in Santa Barbara and the San Ynez Valley having another amazing day on the 29 Days Until 29 Journey. KEYT 3 – Santa Barbara, CA – 9/15/10

Earlier today I had the pleasure of spending about 20 minutes with Tracy Lehr, a reporter for KEYT 3 (ABC) in Santa Barbara. She was kind enough to take the time to interview me about the 29 Days Until 29 journey and to help spread the word about the journey to the people of Santa Barbara. You can check out the story HERE and watch the video below.  Thank you Tracy!!!

What Should I Do At Upcoming Stops? Need Your Help!

Today is my last day along the Central California coast and the milage starts to add up REALLY quickly over the next few days.  I’m hoping that all of you can help me figure out what to do, see, etc… over my next couple of stop.  I thought about doing a poll, like I did for Boston, but realized that required me to come up with some of the options.  This time I’m leaving it wide open and asking for you to write a comment with your suggestions.

1) Salt Lake City – I’m going to be free from mid/later afternoon until midnight (when I catch a red-eye back to the east coast) – Where should I eat dinner?  What should I see?

2) Burlington, VT – I’m there for 6 hours on Friday (I’m there for 8, but figure I need to get out of the airport and then get back early) – Where should I eat lunch?  What should I see/do?

3) Denver, CO – I am still in need of a ride from Denver to Boulder – no joy on Craigslist so far, but will keep trying!

4) San Francisco, CA – I’m there on Monday.  There are some things up in the air that may come together and fill the schedule, but if not I need to know some good places to see/eat.

5) Las Vegas – Yes, I know, Vegas is Vegas, but I need a place to crash because I’m not staying at that airport.

That covers everything up until I get to Portland!  Thank you so much for all of your help and support, you all have been amazing!  Please continue to spread the word and grow the team!
