Contrary to popular belief there are a LOT of things that you can see and do in Las Vegas for little or no money. Below are a few of my favorite FREE things to see and do. I’m sure that I’m missing some others, but even after 9 trips to Vegas I haven’t seen the entire Strip, so please leave your suggestions in the comments!
* The Fountains of Bellagio – my favorite item in all of Vegas – we’ve all seen the movies (21, Oceans, The Hangover, etc…) and trust me, they are BETTER in real life! Try to catch them at night.
* The lobby of The Bellagio – the hand blown glass flowers that hang from the ceiling are amazing!
* The Chocolate Fountain – it should come as no surprise that the fountain is also found at The Bellagio… once you enter the hotel walk thru the lobby and back towards the left. You’ll then see it on your right. It’s the largest chocolate fountain in the world with OVER 4,400 POUNDS of chocolate being pumped thru the fountain. Yes, it’s all real and it’s all edible. And it smells AMAZING!
* Walk thru The Winn – simply stunning
* The Ferrari dealership at The Winn – it’s a Ferrari dealership, do I need to say much else?
* The Shops at The Ventian – just walking around The Ventian is a great experience! Real life canals, the ceilings are painted to look like the sky, street performers (inside), make for a great experience!
* The M&M Store – chocolate heaven!
* The Lobby at Caesar’s Palace – because it is ‘the real’ Caesar’s Palace – insert The Hangover reference HERE.
* The Mandalay Bay Aquarium – In the lobby you will see a 14-foot-high, salt-water aquarium that’s 12,200-gallons and filled with awesome looking fish!
* The ‘Welcome To Las Vegas’ Sign – I’d argue that it’s more famous than the ‘Hollywood’ sign
* Fremont Street Experience – every night from 7-midnight on the hour… a great show!
